Aluminum, which is widely preferred in the electrical and electronics sector due to its high conductivity properties, has a widespread use area.

Aluminum has been preferred for many years as a heat, insulation, shielding and conduction material in many areas. Aluminum in the electrical sector is mostly used as a conduction material. In addition to pure aluminum, many aluminum alloys are used. These alloys consist of compounds that have good conductivity and are resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

Some of the advantages of aluminum are that it is lighter than copper used in many areas (about one-third its density), easier to process than copper and cheaper economically, which highlights the use of aluminum. For example, it is used in many areas such as internal wiring and foils in transformer windings. It has been seen that aluminum has replaced copper since the 1990s.
